formDP is a structural design office founded by Danae Polyviou in 2024, drawing on over 12 years of international experience in London and Stuttgart. Our portfolio includes residential, commercial, mixed-use, and cultural projects across diverse materials, scales, and construction methodologies. We operate internationally from Cyprus and London.
At formDP we really value the importance of staying true to materials, utilizing forms and active geometries, understanding the context and appreciating good aesthetics.
We begin every project from fundamental structural principles and employ digital tools when needed to develop a tailored structural strategy. This may follow conventional approaches or involve exploring innovative, non-conventional solutions.
Our services cover full structural engineering and consultancy from early conceptual stages to construction. We work in BIM to ensure seamless coordination with design teams and use Sofistik for structural analysis.
We are also actively involved in academia, sharing our experience and passion for integrated structural, architectural, and environmental design with the next generation of architects and engineers. Currently, we teach at the Architectural Association (AA) in London, in both undergraduate and postgraduate (EMtech) programs.
