World Design Congress 2025 London

The Anti-Ruin Phase II installation was exhibited in the foyer of the Barbican Centre in London as part of the World Design Congress 2025, held on 9–10 September, with a special focus on sustainability.

The installation is constructed from 3D-printed hollow blocks made from recycled marble waste. The blocks were fabricated at ETH and transported to London, where they were assembled and post-tensioned on site in less than two hours for the congress. This rapid assembly process highlights the project’s emphasis on material efficiency, circularity, and innovative construction methods.
