A new barrel roof will be constructed on top of an existing masonry workshop space that will be repurposed to a multi use community hub including an art residency venue. We are wokring with house of bricoleurs architects on the concept to develop a method of efficiently fabricating the barrel roof, by uisng natural materials, as less as possible, and testing on Site. The main brief is to use natural materials, reuse and 1:1 tests on site as collaborative design principle for the restoration and transformation. Our clients are also self-builders who do most of the works they can do safely themselves.
