Oasis Residences

A three-storey residential development with a piloti level and shared swimming pool is currently under design in the heart of Paphos, embracing a brutalist urban character within a Mediterranean setting.

The development comprises a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments across the upper levels, offering a diverse range of accommodation options. The total covered area is approximately 2,000 m².

The structural system is based on a reinforced concrete frame with flat slabs, selected to maximise floor-to-ceiling heights and enhance the spatial quality of the apartments. Overall stability is provided through a combination of reinforced concrete cores and strategically positioned shear walls, ensuring robust resistance to both seismic and wind actions.

The structural strategy enables flexible, open-plan layouts while maintaining an efficient and cost-effective construction approach. The use of a regular reinforced concrete system and flat slabs facilitates straightforward formwork, efficient reinforcement detailing and a fast, coordinated construction process.

The project is fully coordinated using Building Information Modelling (BIM), integrating the architectural, and structural disciplines to support design coordination, clash detection and efficient construction planning.
