Podgorica Central University Library

The library is conceived as a new landmark for the campus, a reference point in daily academic life and a focal destination for students and visitors alike. It is a building that distinguishes itself from its surroundings while remaining fully integrated within the logic and rhythm of the campus urban grid.

Long structural spans and the strategic positioning of the cores provide a high degree of flexibility, allowing the building to adapt to future changes in use and configuration. The generous floor plates and the centralised organisation of the upper levels can accommodate multiple layout scenarios. The library collection is designed with capacity for growth, while study areas, working spaces, and meeting rooms can be easily reconfigured over time to respond to the evolving needs of the university as the campus continues to develop.
